Welcome to Seren Cottage – a cozy and stylish hideaway designed for rest, relaxation, and reconnection with nature.
Nestled in the beautiful village of Cwm Penmachno, in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, Seren offers the perfect base for couples, friends or families to reconnect with the wild, with each other or with themselves. Surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, winding streams and endless walking trails, Seren Cottage is perfect for those who feel happiest in nature.
Our Spaces
The Master
Double bed with skylight and views of the stars. Claw-foot bath overlooking the rolling hills. Built in clothes storage, wall mirror, bluetooth speaker and hairdryer. Ensuite bathroom. Traditional-chic design.
Bunk House
Single bunk beds (adult size). Storage draws for clothes. ‘Link-detached’ to the master bedroom. Western, cabin design.
The Snug
Second sitting room or double sofa bed on request. Floor length mirror, built in clothes storage, ornamental fireplace. Window seat with views of the valley. Ensuite shower room. Modern-chic design.

Story
I fell in love with the village the first time I visited. The drive to the cottage, through the Machno Valley alone, will take your breath away! Surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, winding streams, and endless walking trails, it’s perfect for those who feel happiest in nature.
It took six months to completely renovate the cottage, every detail was designed thoughtfully and with intention, to create a calm, comfortable retreat without compromising the ‘chic’ - and to my delight, I also discovered a beautiful stream cascading through the garden.
Whether you love exploring, stargazing, fire-pitting, wild swimming or simply listening to the calming rhythm of nature, I’m excited to share my beautiful quarry cottage with you, as your home from home. I hope you'll love it around here as much as I do!
